Gab and Glaze at Bookworm Pottery

Event Information:

In this exclusive event, we'll chat over commercial glazes. Hosted by the Bookworm Pottery & Co. studio owner, Ashley, members will have the opportunity to try new glaze combos, learn application tips, and discuss glaze wins & woes with peers. All brush-on glazes will be provided by Bookworm Pottery--just bring your own mid-fire bisque! If participants are over the age of 21, you may BYOB and your own wine glasses :)

Included: various different mid-fire glazes to try, firings, and guidance
Host: Ashley Merklinger, owner of Bookworm Pottery & Co.
Who: Bookworm Members (former & current) and Clay Guild Members
When: Friday, January 30th (6pm-8pm)
Where: The Cozy Bookwyrm - 1540 S 2nd St, Unit 220, Wilmington, NC 28401
Cost: $25 per person (please bring up to 3 mug/breakfast bowl-sized pots to glaze)

All pots will be fired at Bookworm Pottery. Your pots will be ready for pickup from the Cargo District studio (707 S 16th St) approximately 2-3 weeks from the workshop date.

Monthly Member Meet-up

Every Fourth Friday, we would like to meet-up with members, share a drink and some food, and check out all the fabulous art in Wilmington. Each month we will focus on a different part of downtown Wilmington. If you have a show in a gallery, let us know! We will make that gallery the focus of our meet-up for that month. Cheers!
